Energy and environment
Sustainability is very important to us because we want to take responsibility for the environment, the region and future generations. For this reason, we have already implemented a number of measures: our company fleet is increasingly being supplemented with hybrid vehicles, we have our own charging stations on the company premises and 100% of our electricity comes from hydropower.
The company building has been extensively modernised to use energy more efficiently and conserve resources. In addition, we prefer to work with suppliers from the region – short distances, strong partnerships and a clear contribution to CO₂ reduction.
Climate targets validated by SBTi Our contribution to climate protection
A&D Verpackungsmaschinenbau GmbH recognises the urgency of climate change and has taken a decisive step: we have set a scientifically based target for reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. This so-called near-term target has been officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
